Open the New York Courts Court Locator. Filter by the county and Criminal case type; use court type when known and include Town & Village Courts if relevant. Open the listed court’s official contact details. Have the defendant’s full name, docket/case number, court and county, and known charge or hearing date ready; ask what additional identifying information the clerk needs and how that court verifies current warrant status. If another court or agency owns the matter, ask for that destination. Procedures differ locally; a directory result, phone inquiry or WebCrims search does not itself clear a warrant.
